Moving Worlds is a series of collaborations in Paris with the British charity Art Refuge, who use art and art therapy to support to support the mental health and well-being of people displaced due to conflict, persecution, poverty and climate emergency.
The project, which has been developed over different settings since 2021, includes workshops, exhibitions, training, conversations, film-making, writing and research.
Regular partners in Paris are the Secours catholique day centre Le CEDRE, the psychosocial drop-in run by Médecins du Monde, and la Semeuse, an urban garden at the Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers.
On the 15th november 2025, an event at the Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers, « Une Commune stable », will mark ten years presence of Art Refuge in northern France, and launch Art Refuge Canopy, a european extension of the charity.
